Our design philosophy is to achieve perfect balance between simplicity, elegance and emotion, whether in new build or a renovation. This encompasses architecture, interior architecture, interior design and decoration.

From creativity to construction, our expert team create detailed and developed technical information. This ensures design quality is maintained throughout the construction, contractual and delivery phases and provides a clear and accurate costing to avoid deviation during the project.
Our team is always available to lead the coordination of a project’s fine detail, liaising with the specialists (air conditioning, electricity, audio visual, structure). We continuously charge them with one objective: delivering superbly crafted residences of unmistakable quality.

Procurement
We believe a cost plan is a core part of the project brief, not an obstacle to creativity – projects must be financially viable to warrant proceeding.
At Rive Gauche, when considering cost and quality, we balance exceptional design with pragmatic proficiency.

FF&E
We frequently design bespoke furniture pieces, chandeliers and rugs for our projects. Using our expertise and contacts we are able to manufacture beautifully handmade furniture for competitive prices.
We can also source items off-the-shelf through our extensive network of suppliers in the UK, Europe and around the world.
Our long-standing experience enables us to deliver almost any type of furniture at any price point depending on the desired quality. We are very adaptable, pragmatic and knowledgeable when it comes to balance cost vs. quality.

Design management
We value quality of services over quantity: our projects are carefully selected to ensure Nicolas can devote the necessary time to create, manage and deliver each project as the dedicated point of contact.
Our technical and construction expertise come to the fore during this stage – a keen attention to detail ensures we challenge every detail from joinery to air conditioning flow.

Dressing
When delivering a project, we consider every little detail. Each decorative object, soft furnishing, artwork and bed linen is handpicked to complement the interior. We can even fill the fridge and wine cellar!
We curate up-and-coming artists and commission bespoke artworks to complement the interior.
Our team organise the procurement logistics and white glove installation for a seamless experience.
